Meditation

The Body, Mind & Spirit Club offers a welcoming space for VIC colleagues and community members to explore mindfulness and meditation practices. Whether you are new to meditation or wish to deepen your existing practice, our guided sessions provide an opportunity to slow down, recharge, and connect with yourself and others.

Through meditation, we create space to pause, reconnect with ourselves, and cultivate greater awareness. This simple yet powerful practice can support stress reduction, improve focus, enhance emotional well-being, and bring more clarity and balance into our daily lives.

Spiritual unfoldment - mind(full) is the way

We are body, mind, and spirit. A lot of attention goes to the body and the mind but due to our focus on the material aspects of our life, our spiritual side gets little attention for most of us.

By initially paying attention to body sensations and the mind, we can connect in silence and attune ourselves to our spiritual nature.  Thus silent meditation is one way of allowing our spiritual nature to unfold and correct the balance in our life.

Another good reason is to be part of the solution by bringing peace and harmony into our own life and witnessing that peace and harmony overflow into our surroundings.

It is a letting go (of our focus on the body and mind/intellect/reasoning mind) and paying attention to the small, still voice (spirit) within.

After 35+ years of practicing yoga and meditation, I felt the call to start guiding meditation sessions myself and support the empowerment and well-being of the community in this way. My great inspiration on this journey has been Evolution One and the Stargate Experience collective.

In very simple, incremental steps, participants are gently and lovingly guided to relax, tune into their own space of silence and presence, and in the process, they sense an increase of the alignment of their physical, mental, emotional and energetic body.

These are the key areas that we initially focus on, which then enables us to effortlessly dive deeper into a meditative state.

Another important aspect of my sessions is raising awareness of our connection to the Earth (“grounding”), as well as our connection to the higher aspects of our being.

After the meditation, participants report they are feeling recharged, refreshed, empowered and aligned with their higher potential.

We meet every second and fourth Friday of the month, and you are cordially invited to experience the session with us, whether you are a new or an advanced meditator!

ln this amazing time of transformation, when many of us feel especially changes at several areas impacting daily life and our work, the Friday lunchtime Group guided meditation can help us with a special focus to step into our future (higher) self.

It is felt that e g. during the various moon cycles our energies are needed to manifest our goals and heart wishes. The support given is to find ways to raise our vibrations and to learn how to make the heart - brain connection. Breathing exercises are naturally also part of the meditation sessions.
