About the Club

The Body, Mind & Spirit (BMSP) Club is a Vienna International Centre (VIC)-recognized, nonprofit, non-commercial, and non-denominational club open to staff members and external guests alike. We offer a relaxed and supportive space to explore the connection between body, mind, and spirit, and to discover new perspectives that enrich everyday life.

Our aim is to inspire a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us, helping members cultivate balance, awareness, and a greater sense of well-being. Through shared exploration and open dialogue, we invite you to expand your awareness and experience life with greater clarity and purpose.

The BMSP committee hosts a variety of engaging activities, including introductory talks, discussion circles, short workshops, and events focused on physical, mental, and spiritual health. Whether you are simply curious or already on a personal growth journey, you are warmly invited to explore, connect, and grow with us.

HISTORY OF THE CLUB

The VIC Body, Mind & Spirit Club has a rich and evolving history dating back to the late 1970s, when it was originally founded as the “Esoteric Club.” In its early years, the club focused primarily on metaphysical subjects, including astrology and related disciplines. While activities paused for a period between the late 1980s and mid-1990s, the club was never formally disbanded. In the mid-1990s, it was revived under the name “Society for Conscious Living,” and was quite active for over a decade under various leaderships. Continuing to evolve with the community, the club later adopted its current name, the VIC Body, Mind & Spirit Club, under which it remains an active and welcoming space for exploration, learning, and connection.
